CASSINA HILL HOUSE SET, SETTEE AND CHAIR BY CHARLES RENNIE MACKINTOSH

Hill House Set by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. This is a very nice example of the Glasgow Arts & Crafts Movement in timeline with Art Nouveau / Jugendstil. The only authorized reedition by Cassina, Italy. Made in the 80s for a short time period. Out of production. The set consists of the sofa/settee and the matching easy chair. Blackend oakframe upholstered with original rose and tear fabrics. Easy chair has a reupholsterd seat area in grey fabric. Both pieces are marked with manufacturers stamp and production number. 

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. Easy chair: seatarea is reupholstered. Tear in fabric at backrest (photo). Settee: signs of use and age.
